I did not realize, that it is so wonderful in Kiev – after writing about another city in the Ukraine:

Kiev is older than 1500 years, if I remember correctly, and it has some beautiful architecture.

So refreshingly clean and bright for places that can be as dreary as laundromats.
I find that subways in Moscow and Kiev are very easy to navigate, even for a tourist, unlike a subway in NY, for example.
