Puddles are fascinating. They are all made of the same stuff: water and maybe some mud. Yet, each one has its own personality, its own reflections. Some reflect more of what is, some less. Aren’t you curious to see what reflects in this little puddle of a blog?
About me
Hi, I am Natalie, now a resident of Greater Vancouver. I work full time as a business communicator and in whatever spare time I can get, I am an avid (and often tired) home renovator, still a bookworm and unwaveringly canine aficionado. I started this blog to share my passion for writing and to explore avenues of creative expression that make our lives more fulfilling and more fun. After a hiatus of almost eight months (seems like a lifetime!) I hope to be back in the saddle.
If you are a blogger, I would greatly appreciate if you leave a short comment, so I can visit your blog.
Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to “seeing” you again soon!

Hi there. Thanks for subscribing to my blog 🙂 I wanted to let you know though that when I went to click the link, after seeing you subscribed, to get to your blog it didn’t work. You have it set as reflectionsinapuddle.com instead of reflectionsinapuddle.wordpress.com
Hi Michelle, thank you very much for pointing it out!
Natalie, I put your blog down as a related article as i don’t really know how to do trackbacks. I suppose i could read up on it again, but no time right now. Care to explain?
sorry, I am not sure about it myself. I just deleted that comment. I am new to wordpress myself, and get easily confused by the process. It took me a while to figure out how to add related post links using Zemanta. Duh!:)

Greetings Natalie,
I just wanted to let you know that I have posted the Versatile Bloggers Award that you were so kind to nominate me for. I apologize for having taken so much time in displaying it, but alas she is now there for the world to see with a link back to you in gratitude. I still have a couple more to post, but will try to get them up ASAP, since I am honored that you thought enough of me to nominate me in the first place. Thank you so much for the honors!.
Dear Orples, no worries! I am so happy to see all those badges on your home page. You really deserve them! Congrats on your most recent ones!
I think awards are a great way for bloggers to connect and to give to and show appreciation of the community. It’s a wonderful experience that makes blogging so much more personal. It can get a bit more time consuming, because you have to respond and post and nominate, but it is totally worth it. I am so glad to be a part of this community.

hello
David in Maine USA
thanks for helping me out with my wordpress comments going to other people’s spam..
i tried to spread the message to as many people as possible, because it is important to know where to seek help – the wordpress forums were a big confusing, and when i added a question it immediately when to ‘topic closed’.
thank again!

Hi, I’m a new visitor to your blog – your comment about Smoke and Mirrors on Carl’s blog brought me here. I’ve read the book recently and enjoyed it a lot, looking forward to your review.
hi Delia, thank you very much for stopping by! I am really enjoying the book, Smoke and Mirrors, although not every single story. There is a couple of stories I didn’t get.
Which stories you didn’t get? I liked most of them, I may just have found my new favorite author. He’d have to sit behind Stephen King though, he’s number one. 🙂

I’m really enjoying your blog and thought I’d say hello — from Brisbane, Australia.
Nice to find a fellow Calgarian (okay, so I am an expatriate Calgarian living in sunny FL!) blogger. Love your posts and your perspective.
I’ll be back to read more, but I just wanted to say that I’m happy to have found your blog via the Versatile Blogger award you were nominate to receive (from thetosinteatime above.)

Hi Jocelyne, thanks for your note! So nice to hear from you. I’ve been busy with stuff, but will try to get my blog back on track in the very near future. Hopefully I won’t get sidetracked and bogged down with “stuff” again. Enjoy your weekend too! ~ Natalie
I would like to use your blog as a works cited for you review viewpoints on Neil Gaiman’s Troll Bridge. Would you be able to tell me how to “cite” your blog in MLA style?
Hello Mrs Watson, thank you for your question and citing of my blog post! I did a quick search and found examples of citing web sources here http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/ (at the bottom of the page)
