I took this photo a couple of days ago on our journey Calgary – Vancouver – Calgary. The drive was 12 hours one way, and it made for a long trip, but we all enjoyed it very much, including the dogs.

I’ve always had to park my car almost at prospector point before I could get a shot like this, happy you all had a great time π
Yes, we had a good time: took a long walk in Stanley Park, enjoyed the lovely weather. Although I found it a bit cooler than I expected. Thanks for your comment!
Vancouver’s super unpredictable, just never know when it’s warm and when it’s not π and you’re most welcome π
Great photo of the Lions Gate Bridge! Yesterday was our best day for weather. We had a family B.Q. and it was so beautiful and sunny all day. We have had so much rain in Vancouver and the Valley, too much actually. It has been so exhilarating to see the sun shining. Happy Easter. π
It was a beautiful weekend in Lower Mainland indeed. We were lucky it didn’t rain too much during our trip. But we got into some nasty weather on the Alberta side of the mountains going west. On the way back it was nice and sunny, although still a bit cool. I was amazed to see green grass and flowers. In Calgary we are at least a month away from spring.
We may get lots of rain but right now the Cherry Blossoms are all blooming. Love it. Great to hear you didn’t get too much rain.
Stunning photo – love the misty background.
The misty background surely makes it more interesting. Thanks for your comment, Colline!
We did that trip a few years ago, except we took 2 days between Calgary and Vancouver – slow pokes. It is a beautiful journey though, through our Rockies.
I agree. The Rockies are magnificent. We were thinking about taking a different route, which is supposed to be even more scenic, but that one would take 5 hrs longer. Thanks for your comment!
Outstanding image, Natalie! The height of the bridge and format you chose make it very dramatic!
I guess we were lucky to stumble upon that vantage point. Thank you for your comment, George!
Nice perspective of the bridge and mountain beyond.
Love it! Canada has so much nature. Unfortunately, I have to go far to see it. Great photo of the bridge and thanks for all the likes.

My dad visited us a while back and he was so impressed with Canadian landscapes and vast wilderness. You don’t find that in the Ukraine or any other densly populated country. thanks for your likes and comments!
You are blessed with nature!
Such a gorgeous shot!
Fantastic photo… definitely an amazing journey. π
